Each Bilge Rats Weekender, Larinna will task pirates with five fun and whimsical Challenges to work on. Completing each Challenge will reward you with 65 Doubloons, adding up to 325 Doubloons across all five, which you can put toward cosmetics in Larinna’s Black Market or Duke’s Smugglers’ Market.

Below you’ll find the five Challenges for the Bilge Rats Weekender in April 2026.

Disrupt a Bilge Rats Firework Display on Dagger Tooth Outpost by vomiting

To complete this Challenge, you’ll need to vomit on Dagger Tooth Outpost while a Fireworks Display is active at the Outpost.

To vomit, you’ll first need to drink three full Tankards of Grog or eat pieces of uncooked Meat. Shortly after drinking three full Tankards or eating uncooked Meat, you will vomit.

Now that you know how to vomit on command, you’ll need to time your drinking or eating during the Firework Display at Dagger Tooth Outpost.

Only one Firework Display occurs at a time, taking place at 9pm in-game. You can speak with Larinna to find out which Outpost will have the next Firework Display. When she mentions Dagger Tooth Outpost, you’ll want to sail straight there. Each Firework Display lasts three minutes, so you’ll have between 9pm and 12am in-game to vomit.

Once you are at Dagger Tooth Outpost, check your Pocket Watch and start drinking or eating as it gets close to 9pm. You can refill your Tankard on your ship or with the Tavernkeeper on the Outpost.

As soon as you vomit, you will complete the Challenge and earn 65 Doubloons.

The schedule for the Firework Display is as follows:

  • Sanctuary Outpost
  • Port Merrick Oupost
  • Plunder Outpost
  • Ancient Spire Outpost
  • Dagger Tooth Outpost
  • Galleon’s Grave Outpost

Sit on a stool, pondering existence, by the Beacon on The Crooked Masts

To complete this Challenge, you must sit on a stool by the Beacon on The Crooked Masts.

You can find stools at set locations on islands across the Sea of Thieves. To find their exact locations, you can refer to your handy interactive map. One of the closest stools is by the fishing camp on the West shores of The Sunken Grove.

Once you have your stool, sail to The Crooked Masts. Before hopping off onto the island, you’ll want to equip a Grapple Gun.

Pick up your stool, jump onto the island, and start to climb to the top of the Northern spire. If you climb to the highest point, you should be just below the wooden platform with the Beacon. Put down the stool, equip your Grapple Gun, and grapple to the wooden platform.

Now that you are standing by the Beacon, look down and use your Grapple Gun to pull the stool to you. Once you have the stool, place it down and sit on it to complete the Challenge and earn 65 Doubloons.

Taunt a Skeleton Lord with a trap loaded with a Chicken Firework

To complete this Challenge, you must use a trap loaded with a Chicken Firework on a Skeleton Lord.

You can find Chicken Fireworks randomly in Resource Barrels across the sea, or in the Heart of Nature Firework Crate, which you can purchase from the Merchant Alliance.

As for traps, you can find those in various Storage Containers throughout the Sea of Thieves, such as Resource Barrels, Rowboats, and Storage Crates. Traps are about as rare as Firebombs to find.

Once you have a Chicken Firework and trap it, it’s time to find a Skeleton Lord. You can find Skeleton Lords at active Skeleton Forts, Forts of Fortune, and during the Bounty for a Skeleton Lord Voyage.

While you are fighting a Skeleton Lord, place your trap down, load it with the Chicken Firework, and lure the Skeleton Lord to the trap. As soon as the Skeleton Lord sets off the trap, you will complete the Challenge and earn 65 Doubloons.

Set another crew's ship ablaze by burning Grubs on their stove

To complete this Challenge, you must set another crew’s ship ablaze by burning Grubs on their stove.

You can find Grubs by digging in dry sand on islands or by purchasing a Bait Crate from The Hunter’s Call.

After you have acquired some Grubs, you’ll need to find another crew’s ship. Once you do, climb aboard and cook the Grubs on their ship’s stove. After five minutes of the Grubs burning, they will eventually set the ship on fire. As soon as the ship is on fire, you will complete the Challenge and earn 65 Doubloons.

Serenade Flameheart with 'Jolly Good Fellow' with at least 4 other pirates

To complete this Challenge, you must play the ‘Jolly Good Fellow’ Shanty with at least four other pirates.

As you’ll need to play the Shanty with at least four other pirates, you’ll need to complete this Challenge with one or more crews, even if you are sailing on a Galleon.

Once you have four other pirates, head to The Reaper’s Hideout and group up in front of Captain Flameheart inside the main structure. Equip your instrument and select the ‘Jolly Good Fellow’ Shanty from your Shanties Radial. It will be on the first page.

Start playing your instrument, and your fellow pirates can join in. Once you and four other pirates are playing the Shanty, you will complete the Challenge and earn 65 Doubloons.

You can also hang around The Reaper’s Hideout, hoping to meet other pirates during the Bilge Rats Weekender, looking to complete the Challenge.
