Not every creature inhabiting the Sea of Thieves is out to eat you! You can now find ambient wildlife floating beneath the waves, hiding in caves, and even sunbathing on rocks as you explore the islands of the sea.

Jellyfish

Jellyfish are ambient wildlife found on the coastlines of large islands throughout the Sea of Thieves. You can encounter them in clusters around plant life, sunken debris, jetties, and other marine life near islands. If you have trouble finding some, wait until night, as their unique glow makes them easy to spot in the dark.

You cannot interact with Jellyfish, and they will not sting if you if you swim near them.

Jellyfish Locations

You can find Jellyfish around every large island in all four regions of the Sea of Thieves.

Jellyfish are even around Old Sailor Isle during the Maiden Voyage!

Lizards

Lizards are ambient wildlife found scattering across sand, rocks, and Resource Barrels on small islands throughout the Sea of Thieves.

You cannot interact with Lizards. As you approach a Lizard, it will scurry away and hide when you get too close.
