You’ll want to visit the Smugglers’ League in their Hideouts for more than just selling treasure. Each Hideout has a journal within that gives more insight into each of the Smugglers’ League representatives. You can find one journal in each Hideout for a total of six journals.
Reading all six will complete the Smugglers’ Secret Scrawlings Commendation and unlock the Smugglers’ League Illicit Ink Tattoo.
Solomon's Journal on Smugglers' Bay
You can find Solomon’s Journal on Smugglers’ Bay on a wooden crate next to Sea-Cloak Solomon in his Hideout.
To reach the journal, dock your ship in the bay and head North up to the cave entrance in the large cliff that arcs around the beach. Head inside the cave and you’ll find Sea-Cloak Solomon at the end of it. Next to him on a wooden crate is the journal.

Lottie's Journal on Crescent Isle
You can find Lottie’s Journal on Crescent Isle on a wooden crate next to Low-Tide Lottie in her Hideout.
To reach the journal, head inside the large cave that cuts through the island and follow the wooden bridge South to find the storage chamber’s entrance. Head inside to find Low-Tide Lottie below the wooden scaffolding. To the left of her is the journal on a wooden crate.

Wei-Lin's Journal on Plunder Valley
You can find Wei-Lin’s Journal on Plunder Valley on a round table next to Wily Wei-Lin in her Hideout.
To reach the journal, you can use the cave entrance in Canyon Pass or the cave entrance on the South hill. Head inside to find Wily Wei-Lin. The journal is to the right of her on the round table.

Ix's Journal on Crook’s Hollow
You can find Ix’s Journal on Crook’s Hollow on a rock next to Starbright Ix in her Hideout.
To reach the journal, you can use one of several cave entrances around the island. The most direct access is the cave by the dock on the West side of the island. Head inside and curve North until you reach Starbright Ix. The journal is to the left of her on a rock.

Kidir's Journal on Old Faithful Isle
You can find Kidir’s Journal on Old Faithful Isle on a table next to Bloodwake Kidir in his Hideout.
To reach the journal, dock your ship on the South beach and head North. You should see the hull of an old shipwreck with an entrance in the middle of it. Walk through the hull to find Bloodwake Kidir standing on a wooden platform. Next to him on a table is the journal.

Leander's Journal on The Crooked Masts
You can find Leander’s Journal on The Crooked Masts on a wooden crate next to Little Lord Leander in his Hideout.
To reach the journal, you can use the East or West cave entrances. The journal is on a wooden crate to the left of Little Lord Leander.

You can find Lucia’s Journal on Ruby’s Fall on wooden crates across from Laughing Fox Lucia in her Hideout.
To reach the journal, you can use the North or South cave entrances. The journal is on wooden crates next to a map across from Laughing Fox Lucia.

You can find Elias’ Journal on Fetcher’ Rest on a wooden crate next to Saltbones Elias in his Hideout.
To reach the journal, you can use the North or South cave entrances. The journal is on a wooden crate to the right of Saltbones Elias.
