For years, pirates have taken on countless Skeleton Forts for a chance to fight either The Mutinous Helmsman, The Two-Faced Scoundrel, or The Duchess. With these mighty Skeleton Lords locked behind completing a World Event, many have yet to face them all and complete their Ashen Treasures Commendations.
However, the Order of Souls has added another Bounty Quest to their list of Voyages, A Bounty for a Skeleton Lord!
A Bounty for a Skeleton Lord
The Bounty for a Skeleton Lord Voyage is a challenging Order of Souls Bounty Quest that will have you track down and defeat one of three Skeleton Lords: The Mutinous Helmsman, The Two-Faced Scoundrel, or The Duchess. However, before fighting the wanted Skeleton Lord, you must clear waves of regular, Gold, Plant, and Shadow Skeletons defending the Skeleton Lord.
Like a Skeleton Captain Bounty Quest, you will sail or dive to the island listed on the Quest, explore the island until you find the first wave of Skeletons belonging to the Quest, defeat more waves of Skeletons, and then take out the Skeleton Lord. You’ll know you have found the correct Skeletons belonging to the Quest because they will have a colored bandana on their head. You will also hear the Bounty Quest music player louder as you get closer to their location.
Before setting sail on this Quest, you’ll want to stock up some Firebombs. They will be helpful if you encounter a wave of Gold Skeletons with no water in sight. You might also want plenty of fruit on hand as most Skeletons you will encounter will have firearms constantly dealing damage.
Upon defeating the Skeleton Lord, they will drop several Dark Relics and a Bounty Skull. You can sell the Dark Relics and Bounty Skull to the Order of Souls.
You’ll need to be at least Reputation Level 25 with the Order of Souls before you unlock the Bounty for a Skeleton Lord Voyage. If you reach Reputation Level 35, you can unlock an Ashen variant of the Voyage that will send you to The Devil’s Roar to take out one of the Skeleton Lords. You will still receive Dark Relics, but the Bounty Skull will be Ashen, granting you more Gold and Reputation.
