One of the many perks of being a captain is decorating your ship with trophies! Trophies are the perfect way to showcase your accomplishments to any pirate who steps aboard your ship.
Have you dedicated your hours at sea as a Captain to serving the Order of Souls? Why not adorn ‘The Gift of Foresight’ in your Captain’s Cabin for all to see? Or perhaps you are an expert fisherman and have caught several Shadow Stormfish during your time as Captain. Then, you can hang the Treasured Shadow Stormfish Plaque by your ship’s cooking spot to remind pirates of your accomplishment.
While most cosmetics in the Sea of Thieves can tell a story about your pirate, trophies are available to Captains precisely for that purpose.
How to unlock a Trophy
Every trophy in the Shipwrights Trinket Shop will require you to reach a specific Class in one of the many Pirate Milestones. Once you achieve that Class, you can purchase the trophy from the Shipwright Trinket Shop.
For example, the Cherished ‘Legends of Days to Come’ trophy requires that you reach Class 100 in the ‘Gold Earned as an Athena’s Fortune Emissary’ Pirate Milestone. To earn Class 100, you will need to continue to raise your Class from zero to 100 by earning millions of gold from treasure sold to the Athena’s Fortune as an Emissary.
To see what you need to do to progress through a specific Pirate Milestone, you can view the requirements from the Ship’s Log in the menu.
To quickly find the Pirate Milestone, you will want to take note of the kind of Milestone it is. Specific keywords in the Milestone’s name will help you track it down and discover its requirements.
The Gold Seeker
If the Pirate Milestone has the phrase ‘Treasure Sold’ in its name, you can find it under the ‘The Gold Seeker’ Milestone Alignment. These Milestones will have you selling piles and piles of loot to various Trading Companies.
Some example Milestones in this Alignment are:
- Treasures Sold to Gold Hoarders
- Treasures Sold to Order of Souls
- Treasures Sold to Merchant Alliance
- Treasures Sold to Athena’s Fortune
Some trophies you can unlock under this Milestone Alignment are ‘Flame of Legends’ and ‘The Lion’s Pride.’
The Voyager
If the Pirate Milestone has the phrase ‘Voyage Quests Completed’ in its name, you can find it under the ‘The Voyager’ Milestone Alignment. These Milestones will have you completing specific types of quests, not voyages.
Some example Milestones in this Alignment are:
- Gold Hoarders Voyage Quests Completed
- Merchant Alliance Voyage Quests Completed
- Order of Souls Voyage Quests Completed
- Devil’s Roar Voyage Quests Completed
One of trophies you can unlock under this Milestone Alignment is ‘Grace Under Fire.’
The Emissary
If the Pirate Milestone has the phrase ‘Gold Earned as’ in its name, you can find it under the ‘The Emissary’ Milestone Alignment. These Milestones will have you selling treasure to the Trading Company you represent as an Emissary.
Some example Milestones in this Alignment are:
- Gold Earned as a Gold Hoarder Emissary
- Gold Earned as an Order of Souls Emissary
- Gold Earned as a Merchant Alliance Emissary
- Gold Earned as an Athena’s Fortune Emissary
Some trophies you can unlock under this Milestone Alignment are ‘Legends of Days to Come,’ ‘The Key to Success,’ and ‘The Gift of Foresight.’
The Hunter
If the Pirate Milestone has the words ‘Provisions’ or ‘Caught’ in its name, you can find it under the ‘The Hunter’s Call’ Milestone Alignment. These Milestones will have you cooking and selling meat to The Hunter’s Call and catching fish.
Some example Milestones in this Alignment are:
- Provisions Cooked
- Provisions Eaten
- Provisions Sold to the Hunter’s Call
- Wreckers Caught
Some trophies you can unlock under this Milestone Alignment are ‘Catch of the Day’ and ‘Blackcloud Wrecker Plaque.’
The Feared
If the Pirate Milestone has the word ‘Vanquished’ or ‘Conquered’ in its name, you can find it under the ‘The Feared’ Milestone Alignment. These Milestones will have you kill dozens of Phantoms or complete loads of Sunken Kingdom Treasuries.

- Hungering Ones Vanquish
- Ocean Crawlers Vanquish
- Phantoms Vanquished
- Forts of the Damned Conquered
- Sunken Kingdom Treasuries Conquered
Some trophies you can unlock under this Milestone Alignment are ‘Unfathomable Deep,’ ‘Light of Burning Hearts,’ and ‘Spectre of the Sea.’
The Rouge
If the Pirate Milestone has the word ‘Minutes’ in its name, and it is a light-hearted activity, you can find it under the ‘The Rogue’ Milestone Alignment. These Milestones will have you performing more of the passive actions found throughout the sea for hours and hours.
Some example Milestones in this Alignment are:
- Minutes Spent Playing Shanties
- Minutes Spent Sleeping
- Minutes Spent Sitting
The Ill-Fated
If the Pirate Milestone has the words ‘Times’ or ‘Minutes’ in its name, and it sounds like a grueling activity, you can find it under the ‘The Ill-Fated’ Milestone Alignment. These Milestones will have you dying, spending time on fire, or spending time in a storm.
Some example Milestones in this Alignment are:
- Times Died
- Minutes Spent in Storms
- Minutes Spent on Fire
Some trophies you can unlock under this Milestone Alignment are ‘Judgement Awaits,’ ‘Maelstrom of Poseidon,’ and ‘The Serpent’s Flame.’
The Captain
If the Pirate Milestone has the word ‘Captained’ in its name, you can find it under the ‘The Captain’ Milestone Alignment. These Milestones will have you sailing the sea in your Captained ships.

- Galleons Captained
