The A Fleeting Fancy achievement is one of the many new achievements introduced in the Captains of Adventure update. It is one of the more challenging achievements, as owning more than three ships is no easy task. It will take more than just gold to build a fleet of 15 ships!
How to unlock A Fleeting Fancy
To unlock A Fleeting Fancy, you need to own 15 ships.
If you have enough gold, you can easily buy your first three ships: a Sloop, Brigantine, and Galleon.
A Sloop costs 250,000 gold, a Brigantine costs 375,000 gold, and a Galleon costs 500,000 gold.
The tricky part comes when you want to purchase another ship of the same type. To buy another ship of the same type, you will need to earn a Legendary Ship’s Title on your first ship of that type.
So if you want to purchase a second Sloop, you first need to unlock a Legendary Ship’s Title for your first Sloop.
How to earn a Legendary Ship's Title
To unlock a Legendary Ship’s Title, you’ll need to reach Class 50 in a Ship Milestone Alignment. To reach Class 50, you’ll need to progress through the Classes of the Milestones in the Alignment for the title you want.
Once you earn 50 Classes in one Alignment, you’ll unlock the title. As soon as you have the title, you can purchase your next ship.
Then to purchase another one, you’ll have to earn a Legendary Ship’s Title on another ship.
