While Belle and the Servant of the Flame are looking for Bewitching Dolls to strengthen their respective rituals, you’ll want to conquer Sea Forts and raise Belle’s or the Reaper’s flag to maximize your contribution! The more Sea Forts that belong to your chosen side when you deliver the Bewitching Dolls, the more points you will add to your side.
To conquer a Sea Fort, you’ll first need to speak with Belle or the Servant to get a Fort Flag.
How to raise a Fort Flag on a Sea Fort
To raise Belle’s Flag on a Sea Fort, you will want to start Belle’s Path by speaking with her on Shipwreck Bay. Likewise, to raise The Reaper’s Flag on a Sea Fort, you will want to start the Reaper’s Path by speaking with the Servant of the Flame on The Reaper’s Hideout.
When you begin your chosen path, you will receive a Fort Flag in your Quest Radial.
Now that you have a flag set sail to a Sea Fort. You’ll want to find one that has yet to be claimed or claimed by the opposing side.
If the Sea Fort you choose to conquer is inactive, you can immediately head to the top, equip your side’s flag, and interact with the flagpole to raise it. However, if the Sea Fort is active, you’ll need to defeat waves of Phantoms found inside and kill the Captain of the Fortress before you are allowed to raise your flag.
If the opposing side has claimed the Sea Fort you are conquering, you’ll need to lower their flag before raising yours.
After raising your flag, a Sea Fort Claim Beacon will rise from the Sea Fort. This beacon will let other pirates across the sea know that you have claimed the Sea Fort. The beacon will be green if you raise Belle’s Fort Flag and red if you raise The Reaper’s Fort Flag. You can scan the horizon for the other side’s beacons to quickly find your next Sea Fort to conquer. You can use your Fort Flag as often as you like, but only while actively doing the Adventure for your side.
