As you plunder the Dark Fortress, you will discover a locked prison cell, the Dark Cell. However, since opening the Dark Cell is not required to complete the Raid on a Dark Fortress Voyage, you can easily miss out on its treasure.
To access the Dark Cell, you must ransack all the furnishings in the Sea Fort. You’ll find the hidden Dark Cell Key inside one of the many pieces of furniture!
Dark Cell
The Dark Cell is a locked prison cell on the bottom floor of the Sea Fort. To open it, you must find the Dark Cell Key.
The Dark Cell Key is inside any of the many pieces of furniture you can interact with at the Sea Fort, like cabinets, cupboards, and crates. You’ll have to search every floor of the Sea Fort and even the wooden crates outside to find it.
Some easy-to-miss places you’ll want to check for the Dark Cell Key are the cupboards inside the turrets surrounding the Sea Fort. You’ll also want to open the footlocker inside the turret at the top.
Once you find the Dark Cell Key, you can take it back down to the bottom floor of the Sea Fort. Use the key on the cell door to open it. You’ll discover Chests of Ancient Tribute and Gold Piles to collect inside.
Dark Treasury Cell
The Fortress Treasury during the Raid on a Dark Fortress Voyage is split in two by a locked cell door. To open the Dark Treasury Cell, you must acquire the Dark Treasury Cell Key.
The Phantom Jailor you’ll fight during the final Phase of the Voyage holds the key. Upon defeating the Phantom Jailor, you will acquire the key.
With the Dark Treasury Cell Key in hand, return to the Fortress Treasury. Use the key on the Dark Treasury Cell, and you’ll gain access to all its treasures. Inside are more Chests of Ancint Tribute ane Gold Piles to pick up.
