The Snowbound Ship Lantern is one of the most coveted lanterns a pirate can own. Unfortunately, the time-limited cosmetic was only available to unlock during Season Five of Sea of Thieves. Since then, pirates who missed out have been without the lantern or anything resembling the lantern.
However, thanks to a particularly festive Reaper Parrot, pirates everywhere have another chance at unlocking a red variant of the lantern during the Festival of Giving 2022 Twitch Stream, the Snowburned Ship Lantern!
The Snowburned Ship Lantern
To unlock the Snowburned Ship Lantern, you must interact with the Reaper Parrot hiding within the Sea of Thieves. You can find the Reaper Parrot in one of several locations during the Festival of Giving 2022 Twitch Stream.
As soon as you interact with the Reaper Parrot, you will receive the lantern and can immediately equip it from your Equipment Chest.
Even though there are several locations the Reaper Parrot can be hiding, you only need to interact with the parrot once to get the Snowburned Ship Lantern.
Where can you find a Reaper Parrot?
The Reaper Parrot has moved to its final location! You can now find the Reaper Parrot at New Golden Sands Outpost, sitting on the Tavern sign across from the Pirate Emporium.
The Reaper Parrot will be at New Golden Sands Outpost until Monday, December 19th, 2022, 8:00 pm UTC.

This is kinda a stretch as for a comment, hopefully this isn’t published. A small backstory to myself, I have nearly 2k hours between Xbox and my current PlayStation account, I’ve been grinding absolutely love the game and I’m a part of the insider as well! If theirs anyway to bring forth the orb to give us players a shot at getting the snow globe lantern would be amazing, especially because us PlayStation players are (some new) others (like myself) just starting a new account. Secondly if theirs a way to add a few more tall tales and getting another curse, something as grindy as the gold curse with the commendations, harder then the Ashen curse tho equal as to what you gotta do/completions of commendations to the gold curse, maybe making it like a obsidian curse!! All in all I plan on grinding your game out I absolutely love it and all the hard work your doing, the two things I’ve mentioned, I’m well aware takes time to develop/make happen. I look forward to more content you guys put out as well as grinding to get to distinction V in the trading company’s!
