For the duration of Season 14, the Chest of Fortune has been locked away in the Vault of the Fort of the Damned and can only be obtained by conquering this formidable encounter.
Crews who retrieve Chests of Fortune can now earn the next Grade of the Fortune’s Favour Commendation, unlocking access to the Royal Fortune Figurehead, Hull, and Sails.
Royal Fortune Ship Set
To unlock the Royal Fortune Ship Set, you must complete the ‘Fortune’s Favour’ commendation. However, there are only six Grades to achieve right now, with more Grades planned for future Seasons. Since you can only reach Grade VI, you can unlock only three pieces from the set: the Figurehead, Hull, and Sails.
As future Seasons release, the Grade for the commendation will increase, and more cosmetics from the Royal Fortune Ship Set will be available to unlock.

Royal Fortune Figurehead, Hull, and Sails
You must complete Grade VI of the ‘Fortune’s Favour’ commendation to unlock the Royal Fortune Figurehead, Hull, and Sails.
As soon as you complete Grade VI, you will unlock the ship cosmetics and can purchase them from any Shipwright.
- The Royal Fortune Figurehead costs 600,000 Gold
- The Royal Fortune Sails costs 600,000 Gold
- And the Royal Fortune Hull costs 400,000 Gold
Fortune's Favour Grade VI
You must hand in 180 Chests of Fortune Chests of Fortune to The Gold Hoarders to complete Fortune’s Favour Grade VI. During Season 14, you can only find a Chest of Fortune from completing a Fort of the Damned World Event.

Fort of the Damned World Event
The Fort of the Damned World Event is a land-based World Event. To complete the World Event, you must fight waves of Shadows of Fate Skeletons until you reach the final wave, where you must defeat the Ghost of Graymarrow.
You will know the Fort of the Damned World Event is active if you look for a Skull Cloud with red glowing eyes in the sky. The Fort of the Damned Skull Cloud is different than the Fort of Fortune’s Cloud as it doesn’t have the bright red scar down its forehead.
