Pirates across the Sea of Thieves have been obsessed with the “Orb” since it first appeared in Season Five. During Season Five, pirates sailing the sea could acquire their own Orb, officially known as the Snowbound Ship Lantern, by reaching Renown Level 50.
Since then, pirates who missed unlocking the time-limited lantern have been without the magical Orb. Luckily, everyone has another opportunity to get one!
Every pirate can obtain a red variant of the Orb during the Festival of Giving Twitch Stream this year by unlocking the Snowburned Ship Lantern!
The Orb of Scrying
To unlock the Orb of Scrying, you must interact with the Reaper Parrot hiding in one of several locations around the Sea of Thieves. The Reaper Parrots will only be around during the Festival of Giving 2022 Twitch Stream.
After interacting with the Reaper Parrot, the Orb of Scrying will be in your Equipment Chest for you to equip at any time.
Even though there is more than one location the Reaper Parrot will be, you only need to interact with it once to get the Orb of Scrying.
Where can you find a Reaper Parrot?
The Reaper Parrot has moved to its final location! You can now find the Reaper Parrot at New Golden Sands Outpost, sitting on the Tavern sign across from the Pirate Emporium.
The Reaper Parrot will be at New Golden Sands Outpost until Monday, December 19th, 2022, 8:00 pm UTC.
