The elusive black-and-white Midnight Prowl has returned in the form of a brand new Season 12 ship set, the Midnight Prowler. While retaining the same colors, the Midnight Prowler sails now adorn a wolf’s silhouette over a white moon instead of the infamous crescent white moon from the original Midnight Prowl.
Currently, only three pieces of the Midnight Prowler ship set are available. The three cosmetics are the Flag, Hull, and Sails. Earn all three and prowl the sea in style!
Midnight Prowler Flag
To unlock the Midnight Prowler Flag, you must complete the “Head Beheaded” commendation by defeating a Skeleton Captain with a Bone Caller Skeleton.
You can find Bone Callers in Resource Barrels across the sea. However, you are more likely to find them in Resource Barrels at Skeleton Forts, in Shipwrecks, and inside Storage Crates dropped by Skeleton Ships from the Skeleton Fleet World Event.
Once you have a Bone Caller, you can start looking for a Skeleton Captain. You can find Skeleton Captains randomly on island beaches or through an Order of Souls Bounty Quest. They will have an orange name above their head.
Once you find one, throw your Bone Caller and let your skeletons go to work. You can also inflict some damage on the Skeleton Captain before throwing your Bone Caller to ensure your skeletons deal the final blow.
Midnight Prowler Hull
To unlock the Midnight Prowler Hull, you must complete Grade V of the “Holey Wood Holes” commendation. To reach Grave V you must hit pirate ships with 1000 Scattershot.
You can find Scattershot in Resource Barrels across the sea. Your ship also comes stocked with several.
To complete this commendation, you simply need to shoot other pirate ships with Scattershot. Skeleton Ships will not count. While you are shooting one Scattershot, it’s the individual smaller cannonballs that count toward the commendation. So if three of the four hit the ship you are shooting, you will progress 3 in the commendation.

Midnight Prowler Sails
To unlock the Midnight Prowler Sails you must complete Grade V of the “Storm Sale” commendation. To reach Grave V you must sell 100 Horns of Fair Winds.
You can find the Horn of Fair Winds in Siren Treasuries or randomly in emergent shipwrecks and Siren Shrines. You must sail to these locations as the horn will not appear in shipwrecks, Shrines, or Treasuries that you dive to using the Quest Table.
The horn does not lose value as you use it. You can sell a completely charged or empty Horn of Fair Wind to receive credit.
