A shipment of Good Boy Equipment, Instruments, and Weapons has made its way to Outposts across the Sea of Thieves. However, while most Outpost inventory requires a specific Commendation to unlock, these cosmetics have a unique prerequisite. Before spending your Gold, you’ll need to gain favour with a certain Good Boy on an uncharted island.
Gaining favour with the Good Boy
To unlock the Good Boy Equipment, Instruments, and Weapons, you must give an Old Boot to the dog on the Uncharted Isle at the map coordinates K9. The orange dog is on the North side of the island by a cooking spot.
Old Boots are pieces of Trecherous Plunder that you can fish up when fishing without bait. Some of the best places to fish for Trecherous Plunder are ponds, as Pondies appear quickly, allowing you to recast just as quickly. Just make sure you don’t have any bait attached when you cast your Fishing Rod.
Once you have an Old Boot, head to the Uncharted Isle at K9. Deliver the dog the boot, and it will grant you access to purchase the Good Boy Equipment, Instruments, and Weapons.
Giving the Old Boot to the Good Boy will count for the whole crew, so you don’t need to worry about who delivers it.
