The legendary curse that turns your pirate into a spooky apparition goes by many names: the Ghost Curse, Ghostly Curse, and the Blessing of Athena’s Fortune. But no matter what you call it, you’ll need to prove yourself worthy to the Pirate Lord to unlock it.
Showing the Pirate Lord how dedicated you are to the Guardians of Fortune will require you to sink hundreds of ships belonging to the Servants of the Flame!
The Ghost Curse
You need to be a Pirate Legend and reach Allegiance Level 100 with the Guardians of Fortune to get the Ghost Curse.
Once you have met the requirements, you can partake in the Blessing of Athena’s Fortune ceremony in the Tavern of Legends Faction Hideout. After the ceremony, you will unlock the Ghost Curse, and it will automatically be into your Vanity Chest.
The Ghost Curse comes with eight curse-exclusive emotes that you can use while the curse is equipped.
The Ghost Curse is not time-limited. So, you can earn it whenever. So, you don’t need to worry about how fast you’ll reach an Allegiance of 100!
How to reach Allegiance of 100
You can reach Allegiance level 100 in several ways. The first and foremost way to earn Allegiance is by sinking Servants of the Flame ships while pledged to the Guardians of Fortune. You’ll gain the most Allegiance for winning battles against the opposing Faction.
The second way to earn Allegiance is by turning in your Faction Stash Grade. You can build up your Faction Stash Grade by placing treasure on your ship—the more treasure you have hoarded on your vessel, the higher your Faction Stash Grade. However, to earn Allegiance from your Faction Stash Grade, you’ll need to leave the fight at any Outpost.
The third and final way to gain Allegiance is cashing out your Hourglass of Fate at any Outpost with at least one win. When you leave the fight at an Outpost, you’ll earn Allegiance for all the Hourglass Value you have built up.
How to enter the Tavern of Legends
To enter the Tavern of Legends Faction Hideout, speak with the Pirate Lord once you have reached Allegiance of 100 with the Guardians of Fortune. He will then open a door inside his Captain’s Cabin that leads to the Tavern of Legends Faction Hideout
