Season One introduced the Frostbite cosmetic set to the Sea of Thieves. Until now, the line of frozen cosmetics has been made up primarily of clothing items. However, with the latest December 2022 update to the Sea of Thieves, pirates can now expand their Frostbite collection with the Frostbite Weapon cosmetics!
Frostbite Weapons
You’ll need to complete the ‘Generous Giving for All’ commendation to unlock the Frostbite Weapons. Once you complete that commendation, you will unlock all four Frostbite Weapons and can purchase them from the Weaponsmith’s Shop on any Outpost.
The Frostbite Blunderbuss, Cutlass, Eye of Reach and Pistol all cost 127,575 gold.
Generous Giving for All
The ‘Generous Giving for All’ commendation requires you to deliver 50 Generous Gifts. As soon as you sell 50 Generous Gifts, you will unlock the weapons in the shop.
You can find gifts inside a Skeleton Fort vault and from some ‘X Marks the Spot Maps’ acquired from emergent Skeleton Captains.
