There are a total of five Deeds you’ll need to complete during the Shrouded Islands Adventure. You will meet the requirements for most of the Deeds naturally as you progress through the Adventure. However, you can miss completing some Deeds entirely.
Bringing a Rune Tablet to Belle for her research is one Deed that you can miss. To make sure you don’t miss it, you’ll need to keep a watchful eye for Rune Tablets that drop as you slay Reaper’s Phantoms on Shipwreck Bay. Then, you’ll need to hand a Rune Tablet you find over to Belle without losing it.
How to bring a Rune Tablet to Belle for her research
To bring a Rune Tablet to Belle for her research, you will need to first find one during Chapter Two of the Shrouded Islands Adventure. Then, you’ll need to hand it over to her on any one of the three islands you can find her on.
How to get a Rune Tablet
To get a Rune Tablet, you need to start Chapter Two of the Shrouded Islands Adventure by speaking with Belle. After informing her you want to investigate Shipwreck Bay, a brazier with the Flame of Souls lit will appear beside her.
Equip your lantern, walk up to the brazier, and take the Flame of Souls from the brazier. You are now ready to sail to Shipwreck Bay and find a Rune Tablet.
Once at Shipwreck Bay, light all eight Memory Braziers with the Flame of Souls. Each time you light a brazier, a group of Reaper’s Phantoms will spawn. Each Reaper Phantom you kill has a chance of dropping a Rune Tablet upon its death.
Be sure to keep an eye on the ground after each skirmish for a Rune Tablet. They can be very hard to spot!
If you don’t find one your first time, you can always start Chapter Two to try again. It might take several tries completing Chapter Two to find a Rune Tablet.
Sell the Rune Tablet to Belle
Once you have found a Rune Tablet, it’s time for you to sell it to Belle.
You can find Belle on Crescent Isle, Marauder’s Arch, and Devil’s Ridge. Sail to one of those three islands and approach Belle with your Rune Tablet in hand. Sell it to her, and you will have completed the Deed.
What's next?
If you stopped the Dark Ritual and defeated the Soulflame Captain, you should have found a Buried Relic Map. The island the Buried Relic Map is for has a Hexing Skull waiting for you to dig up. Belle also needs a Hexing Skull to complete her research and crack the case of the mysterious fog!

I’ve played it through 5 times and still have yet to have a phantom drop a rune tablet. Each time I get the buried relic map, it completely disappears and doesn’t show me anything. There is something wrong with this and it needs to be fixed please before the adventure is t available to finish anymore.

It took us three times of doing Chapter Two to find a Rune Tablet. Make sure you really scour the ground after each time you kill one of the Phantoms that spawn when lighting a brazier. They can be really hard to see!
That’s weird that you don’t get a map when you pick up the Buried Relic Map. So after you pick it you, you don’t have an X Marks the Spot quest in your Quest Radial? It should be for either Crescent Isle, Marauder’s Arch or Devil’s Ridge.
