One of the hardest Commendations to complete is now more achievable than ever! If the Merchant Forager Commendation has eluded you over the years, you’ll want to start delivering Commodities through the Trade Routes to complete it!
Merchant Forager
The Merchant Forager Commendations require you to deliver fifty Fruit Crates to the Merchant Alliance on time.
To complete it, your only option has been to find random Mysterious Journals or Messages in Bottles and hope the Quest you receive from one is the Quest you need to progress the Commendations.
Now, you can also sell Commodities along the Trade Routes to work on the Commendation! The Merchant Alliance has acquired four additional Commodities for the Trade Routes, and each one counts toward its matching Commendation.
You’ll want to buy and sell Crates of Unprepared Ingredients to progress the Merchant Forager Commendation.
The original Fruit Crate still works, so any progress you already have is safe.
So, you can raise your Merchant Alliance Emissary Flag, buy these Commodities straight from the Merchant Alliance representative at an Outpost, deliver them to another, and progress the Commendation with every delivery, giving you a reliable, repeatable path to completion.
And of course, progressing the related Commendation will also progress their corresponding Achievement.
