One of the many commendations you can complete during The Quest for Guybrush Tall Tale is the ‘Mêlée Island Spectacular’ commendation. You can start working on the commendation as soon as you clear the fog covering Mêlée Island.

If you are just looking to complete ‘Mêlée Island Spectacular’ and complete a circus performance, your first step is to clear the fog from Mêlée Island!
Mêlée Island Spectacular Commendation
To complete the Mêlée Island Spectacular commendation and complete a circus performance, you’ll need to successfully finish the Fettuccine Brother’s routine. However, before you can do that, you’ll need first to need to clear the fog from Mêlée Island. After you’ve lifted the fog, you can visit the Fettucini Brothers at the Circus.
Speak with the Fettucini Brothers
After you clear the fog, make your way to the Circus. Inside the circus tent, you will find the Fettucini Brothers discussing their latest performance. They will start talking to you as soon as you enter the tent.
Once they finish talking, speak with Alredo and ask Bill about a costume. Bill will tell you to pick up the Circus Costume on the wooden platform nearby. Pick up the Circus Costume and equip it at the Customization Chest by the brothers.
Once you have the Circus Costume on, you are ready to start the circus performance. Before trying to complete the routine, you’ll want to align the cannon in the tent before you start.
Head over to the cannon on the East side of the tent and adjust its height until you can successfully fly through the rings and into the hot tub.
Complete a circus performance
Once the cannon is angled correctly, you are ready to start the performance. Ring the Circus Bell by the brothers and immediately use the nearby ladder. After you climb to the top of the ladder, run across the rope bridge and ring a second Circus Bell.
After ringing the second bell, turn to your right and hop down the platforms to the third Circus Bell. Ring the third bell and hop down to the zipline that leads to the cannon.
Once at the cannon, climb in and shoot yourself through the rings of fire. You will complete the circus performance if you land in the hot tub.
If you land in the hot tub, you will unlock the ‘Mêlée Island Spectacular’ commendation. You can try again as many times as you like if you fail to land in the hot tub or fall to the ground at any point.
Just ring the starting Circus Bell by the brothers to retry.
