One of the many commendations you can complete as you bury and dig up treasure is the Master Cartographer commendation.
To complete this commendation, you must donate Treasure Stash maps to a Quest Board. You will need to donate a total of 25 to complete the commendation fully.
To work on this, you will first want to create some Treasure Stash maps.
Master Cartographer Commendation
To complete this commendation, you will first need to create some Treasure Stash maps. To create one, simply bury any piece of treasure on an island. As soon as you bury at least one piece of treasure, you will create a Treasure Stash map.
As long as you bury your treasure on islands other than Outposts, you will be able to post your maps to the Quest Board.
With your bundle of Treasure Stash maps, go to any Quest Board and post them. You can find Quest Boards on the main docks of Outposts or at Seaposts.
To post your map, interact with the Quest Board and go to the My Maps section. From there, you’ll be able to choose which maps you want to donate.
If you bury at least five pieces of treasure on one island, you can work on the Hider of Sizable Stashes commendation at the same time.
