One of the many commendations you can complete while you make mischief on the Sea of Thieves is the ‘Hung Out to Dry’ commendation.
To complete the commendation, you must hang from five shipwrecks at Galleon’s Grave, Shipwreck Bay, Morrow’s Peak Outpost, Discovery Ridge, and Thieves’ Haven.
There is one shipwreck on each of the five islands that you must hang from. As these are shipwrecks, finding the correct location to hang from might be tricky!
Galleon's Grave Outpost
The shipwreck you must hang from on Galleon’s Grave Outpost is on top of the Outpost on the highest peak. You will want to ascend to the top of the Outpost and Crouch near the left side of the bow. When you Crouch, you will see a prompt to “Hang from Ledge” on the ship’s side. Hang over the side to make progress on the Commendation.
Shipwreck Bay
The shipwreck you must hang from on Shipwreck Bay is on the island’s South side. Hop on top of the Captain’s Cabin of the shipwreck and Crouch near the back lantern. When you Crouch, you will see a prompt to “Hang from Ledge” on the ship’s side. Hang over the side to make progress on the Commendation.
Morrow's Peak Outpost
The shipwreck you must hang from on Morrow’s Peak Outpost is the shipwreck near the Tavern. Hop on top of the Captain’s Cabin of the shipwreck and Crouch near the back right corner ledge. When you Crouch, you will see a prompt to “Hang from Ledge” on the ship’s side. Hang over the side to make progress on the Commendation.
Discovery Ridge
The shipwreck you must hang from on Discovery Ridge is the shipwreck on the island’s North West side. Search for the remains of the Captain’s Cabin at the end of the beach. Crouch near the ledge sticking out of the sand to see a prompt to “Hang from Ledge” on the ship’s side. Hang over the side to make progress on the Commendation.
Thieves' Haven
The shipwreck you must hang from on Thieves’ Haven is the shipwreck near the water in the middle of the island. Make your way up on to the front side of the shipwreck, near the bow, and Crouch near the front left of the ship. When you Crouch, you will see a prompt to “Hang from Ledge” on the ship’s side. Hang over the side to make progress on the Commendation.
