One of the many commendations you can complete as you bury and dig up treasure is the Hider of Secret Treasures commendation.
To complete this commendation, you must bury valuable treasures for safekeeping. You will need to bury a total of 25 to complete the commendation fully.
To work on this, you will first need to get your hands on some treasure.
Hider of Secret Treasures Commendation
To complete this commendation, you will first need some treasure to bury. You can bury any kind of treasure for this commendation, and you don’t need to do this during one session. You can also bury it wherever you like, even an Outpost!
To receive credit, just make sure you bury unique pieces of treasure. You can’t bury a chest, dig it up and bury it again to progress through the commendation.
You can go on Trading Company Voyages or take on World Events to collect treasure to bury. You could also simply sail the sea and bury any treasure you encounter. Once you bury your 25th unique piece, you will complete the commendation.
