One of the many commendations you can complete during the Burning Blade World Event is the ‘Fiery Diary’ commendation.
To complete the commendation, you must read Captain Flameheart’s Captain’s Log on the Burning Blade.
While you won’t unlock a cosmetic for the commendation, you’ll need to read the log to complete every commendation for The Flame Rises.
Fiery Diary
You can find Captain Flameheart’s Captain’s Log in the Captain’s Cabin of the Burning Blade. The Captain’s Log is sitting on a table across from the Captain’s Table, below the large portrait of Flameheart.
To read it, approach the log and interact with it. As soon as you do, you will unlock the commendation.
The Burning Blade only appears during the Burning Blade World Event. You can spot the World Event by the giant fiery red beacon of fire radiating from the ship. You can also find the World Event on your Map Table by looking for a red ship marker.
You don’t need to be pledged to the Burning Blade to read the log. It also doesn’t matter if the Burning Blade World Event is in the Skeleton-Controlled phase or Player-Controlled phase.
