One of the many commendations you can complete as you sleep and sit your way through the Sea of Thieves is the Catching Rays commendation.

To complete this commendation, you must take in the view atop the highest peak in The Ancient Isles at noon. To do this, you will need to travel to The Ancient Isles and sail towards Plunder Valley.

Catching Rays Commendation

Sail on over to Plunder Valley in The Ancient Isles. You will find the highest peak in the region on this island.

Once you are there, make your up to the center of the island where you will find a Festival of the Damned Beacon.

Catching Rays

Walk past to the Beacon to the South East ledge. You will be prompted to “Take in the view.” Interact with the prompt, and your pirate will take a seat on the ledge.

You will complete the commendation if you are sitting on that ledge at noon.
