There are a total of five Deeds you’ll need to complete during the Shrouded Islands Adventure. You will meet the requirements for most of the Deeds naturally as you progress through the Adventure. However, you can miss completing some Deeds entirely.
To complete every Deed, you’ll first need to seek Larinna at any Outpost and speak with her. She knows everything you’ll need to get started on your Adventure!
Recover the Mysterious Compass and use it to locate its owner somewhere on the Sea of Thieves
To find the Mysterious Compass, you’ll first need to speak with Larinna at any Outpost to start the Shrouded Islands Adventure. The Mysterious Compass will not physically be in the Sea of Thieves for you to pick up if the Adventure isn’t active for your crew.
Once you have spoken with Larinna and started Chapter One, sail to Golden Sands Outpost. Larinna has tasked you with searching for clues there, and that is where you will find the Mysterious Compass.
Once at Golden Sands, hop off your boat onto the island. You will want to make your way towards the Tavern at the center of the Outpost. In the Tavern, you will find the Mysterious Compass. It sits on the large table in the Tavern next to the fireplace. Pick up the compass, and it will be added to your Quest Radial. You are halfway through this Deed!
Equip the Mysterious Compass, and it will point you to its owner, Belle.
You can find Belle on three islands: Crescent Isle, Marauder’s Arch, and Devil’s Ridge. The Mysterious Compass will direct you to the closest of those three islands. So, if you start your hunt for Belle at Golden Sands Outpost, the compass will likely point you towards Crescent Isle.
Sail towards the direction the Mysterious Compass directs you to. Once at the island, jump off your boat onto land. Then continue to follow the compass on the island for the exact location of Belle.
Once you find her, speak with Belle and tell her you found her compass. She will then introduce herself, and you will have completed this Deed.
Bear witness to all the ghostly memories found across the latest shrouded island
To bear witness to all the ghostly memories, you will need to light eight Memory Braziers with the Flame of Souls during Chapter Two of the Shrouded Islands Adventure.
To get the Flame of Souls, you need to start Chapter Two of the Shrouded Islands Adventure by speaking with Belle. After informing her you want to investigate Shipwreck Bay, a brazier with the Flame of Souls lit will appear beside her.
Equip your lantern, walk up to the brazier, and take the Flame of Souls from the brazier. You are now ready to sail to Shipwreck Bay and find the eight Memory Braziers.
There are a total of eight Memory Braziers scattered around Shipwreck Bay. They are hidden in plain sight and are not too difficult to spot. You will also have hints in the form of ghostly apparitions pointing you in the direction of a brazier.
Once you find one, raise your Lantern with the Flame of Souls inside and light the brazier.

Light the flame that begins a Dark Ritual
During Chapter Two of the Shrouded Islands Adventure, you will have the opportunity to light a Ritual Brazier, which will start the Dark Ritual. However, you will first have to light eight Memory Braziers with the Flame of Souls before lighting the Ritual Brazier.
Once you light all eight Memory Braziers on Shipwreck Bay with the Flame of Souls, head to the center of the island, where you’ll find a hanging cage. Inside the hanging cage is the Ritual Brazier you need to light to complete this Deed.
Bring a Rune Tablet to Belle for her research
To bring a Rune Tablet to Belle for her research, you will need to first find one during Chapter Two of the Shrouded Islands Adventure. Then, you’ll need to hand it over to her on any one of the three islands you can find her on.
To get a Rune Tablet, you need to start Chapter Two of the Shrouded Islands Adventure by speaking with Belle. After informing her you want to investigate Shipwreck Bay, a brazier with the Flame of Souls lit will appear beside her.
Equip your lantern, walk up to the brazier, and take the Flame of Souls from the brazier. You are now ready to sail to Shipwreck Bay and find a Rune Tablet.
Once at Shipwreck Bay, light all eight Memory Braziers with the Flame of Souls. Each time you light a brazier, a group of Reaper’s Phantoms will spawn. Each Reaper Phantom you kill has a chance of dropping a Rune Tablet upon its death.
Be sure to keep an eye on the ground after each skirmish for a Rune Tablet. They can be very hard to spot!
Once you find a Rune Tablet, you want to sail to Belle. You can find Belle on Crescent Isle, Marauder’s Arch, and Devil’s Ridge. Sail to one of those three islands and approach Belle with your Rune Tablet in hand. Sell it to her, and you will have completed this Deed.
Bring a Hexing Skull to Belle for her research
To acquire a Hexing Skull, you must first obtain a Buried Relic Map by defeating a Soulflame Captain during Chapter Two of the Adventure.
To start Chapter Two, find Belle on any of the three islands she resides on and continue the adventure by telling her you are ready to investigate the latest shrouded island. A brazier with the Flame of Souls inside will appear. Equip your Lantern and take the Flame of Souls from the brazier.
With your Flame of Souls in your Lantern, set sail to Shipwreck Bay. Once on Shipwreck Bay, you will need to light eight Memory Braziers and then light the Ritual Brazier near the island’s center. Lighting the Ritual Brazier will start the Dark Ritual, where a Soulflame Captain will eventually appear. Kill the Soulfmae Captain, and it will relinquish a Buried Relic Map.
The Buried Relic Map will give you an X Marks the Spot quest. Sail to the island the X Marks the Spot quest is for and dig at the X. You will discover a Hexing Skull. Return the skull to Belle to complete this Deed.
