There are eleven Deeds you’ll need to complete during the Lost Sands Adventure. You will meet the requirements for most of the Deeds naturally as you progress through the Adventure. However, you can miss completing some Deeds entirely.

It’s important to mention that you can complete some of these Deeds without doing the Adventure. For example, you can still read the journals scattered about the Sea of Thieves without the Adventure being active on your Voyage Table.

The eleven Deeds are:

  • Speak with Merrick.
  • Speak with a shadowy figure.
  • Deliver Tina’s Crate of Rum Bottles in perfect condition.
  • Deliver Sharon’s Crate of Sailcloth in perfect condition.
  • Safely destroy a stolen Soulflame Rowboat.
  • Smuggle a Relic Cache.
  • Destroy your Soulflame Rowboat near Golden Sands.
  • Read one of Merrick’s journals.
  • Read all of Merrick’s journals.
  • Read one of The Servant’s journals.
  • Read all of the Servant’s journals.

Speak with Merrick.

You can find Merrick at Golden Sands Outpost. Merrick is standing on the Outpost near the Gold Hoarder tent. Speaking to him will complete this Deed. You don’t need to be doing the Adventure for this to count.

Talk to Merrick

Speak with a shadowy figure.

To complete this Deed, you first need to start Chapter One of the Servant’s Path by speaking with Larinna. As soon as you start Chapter One, Larinna will task you with finding the shadowy figure.

You can find the shadowy figure on Wanderer’s Refuge. However, before speaking with the shadowy figure, you need to track them down.

Once on Wanderer’s Refuge, climb to the island’s highest point, where the bell is. You should spot the shadowy figure near some bushes under three palm trees as you approach the bell. Unfortunately, the shadowy figure will disappear into the bushes before you get too close.

Shadowy Figure

From the bushes, face South West towards the cannon down the hill. Walk down the hill following the ghostly birds. They will lead you to the shadowy figure by some more bushes. Again, the figure will slip away into the bushes by the cannon.

Shadowy Figure

From these bushes, face South by South East to spot new ghostly birds. Follow these birds South by South East until you reach The Servant of the Flame standing by the Graymarrow altar. Speak with The Servant of the Flame to complete the Deed.

Shadowy Figure

Deliver Tina's Crate of Rum Bottles in perfect condition.

You must actively be doing the second Chapter of Hunter’s Path to complete this Deed. During this Chapter, Merrick will give you a list of instructions. One of the instructions is to deliver Tina’s Crate of Rum Bottles. To get it, you must sail to Cannon Cove.

Once at Cannon Cove, head to the far West beach of the island. You will find Tina and a rowboat with a mounted yellow flag. Inside the rowboat is a map. This map is an X Marks the Spot Quest that will lead you to Tina’s Crate of Rum Bottles.

Tina on Cannon Cove

Dig up the crate but be careful of the Reaper Phantoms that will ambush you. They can damage your crate if your skirmish with them happens to close. After dispatching the Phantoms, carefully take the Crate of Rum Bottles to your ship. Make sure you don’t fall, jump or take damage while holding the crate to keep them in perfect condition.

Then you must carefully sail to Golden Sands Outpost and give them to Merrick. Don’t crash your ship with the crate aboard to keep them in perfect condition.

If you give Merrick the Crate of Rum Bottles with them still in perfect condition, you will complete the Deed.

Give Tina's Rum Bottles

Deliver Sharon's Crate of Sailcloth in perfect condition.

You must actively be doing the second Chapter of Hunter’s Path to complete this Deed. During this Chapter, Merrick will give you a list of instructions. One of the instructions is to deliver Sharon’s Crate of Sailcloth. To get the crate, you must sail to Smuggler’s Bay.

Once at Smuggler’s Bay, head to the South West beach of the island. You will find Sharon and a rowboat with a mounted yellow flag. Inside the rowboat is a map. This map is an X Marks the Spot Quest that will lead you to Sharon’s Crate of Sailcloth.

Sharon on Smuggler's Bay

Dig up the crate but be careful of the Reaper Phantoms that will ambush you. After dispatching the Phantoms, carefully take the Crate of Sailcloth to your ship. Don’t let the crate get wet by swimming it over. Use the harpoon instead to keep them in perfect condition!

Then you must carefully sail to Golden Sands Outpost and give them to Merrick. Make sure a leak or the storm doesn’t get the crate wet.

If you give Merrick the Crate of Sailcloth with them still in perfect condition, you will complete the Deed.

Give Sharon's Sailcloth

Safely destroy a stolen Soulflame Rowboat.

To complete this Deed, you will need to light or destroy the reinforced explosive keg on the back of a Soulflame Rowboat. The Soulflame Rowboat must not be in the shallows of Golden Sands Outpost to receive credit.

You can find Soulflame Rowboat randomly on the beaches of islands around the Sea of Thieves or from another crew spawning one during their Adventure.

Soulflame Rowboat

You can interact directly with the keg on the back of a Soulflame Rowboat to light it. If lighting the keg is not an option, you can also damage it with weapons or cannons until it explodes.

Light Fuse

Smuggle a Relic Cache.

You must actively be doing the second Chapter of Servant’s Path to complete this Deed. During this Chapter, The Servant of the Flame will give you a list of orders. One of the orders is to deliver a Relic Cache. You can find the Relic Cache on Twin Groves.

Row to Twin Groves and interact with the Smuggler on the island’s Northside. If your ship is too close to the island, the Smuggler will not appear. The Smugglers only trust pirates who arrive with Soulflame Rowboats. Once the Smuggler reveals themselves, they will give you a Relic Cache.

Take Relic Cache

Take the Relic Cache to Cannon Cove and deliver it to the Smuggler on the South East beach to complete the Deed. Again, if your ship is too close to the island, the Smuggler will not appear to take the Relic Cache.

Give Relic Cache

Destroy your Soulflame Rowboat near Golden Sands.

You must actively be doing the second Chapter of Servant’s Path to complete this Deed. During this Chapter, The Servant of the Flame will give you a list of orders. One of the orders is to release a Soulflame Rowboat’s energy in the shallows of Golden Sands Outpost.

When you start the second Chapter of the Servant’s Path, a Soulflame Rowboat will spawn for you at The Reaper’s Hideout. Use the Reaper’s Compass to find it on the island. This rowboat is the one you need to use to attack Golden Sands.

After delivering the Relic Cache, row your rowboat to Golden Sands and light the fuse on the reinforced explosive keg to destroy it. Ensure that you are in the shallows or beached on Golden Sands to receive credit!
