There are seven Deeds you’ll need to complete during The Herald of the Flame Adventure. You will naturally meet the requirements for most of the Deeds as you venture through the Adventure. However, you can miss some Deeds, such as the ones requiring you to read Stitcher Jim’s journals hidden throughout The Devil’s Roar.
To complete every Deed, you’ll need to meet with Belle, work with Pendragon to hunt down Stitcher Jim, and take on the dreaded Herald of the Flame.
The seven Deeds are:
- Meet Belle at Liar’s Backbone
- Receive an Enchanted Lantern
- Find all visions of Stitcher Jim
- Find hidden Reaper Scouts
- Examine Stitcher Jim’s Journals
- Defeat the Herald of the Flame
- Complete the Adventure
Meet Belle at Liar's Backbone
To complete this Deed, you must complete Chapter One of The Herald of the Flame Adventure.
You can start by first speaking with Larinna at any active Outpost. You can find her in front of the Tavern.
Once you find her, speak with her and choose the BEGIN ADVENTURE dialogue option. Selecting this option will start Chapter One of the Adventure. Larinna will then direct you to Liar’s Backbone to speak with Belle.
Head to Liar’s Backbone and interact with the lever on the island to open the door to Stitcher Jim’s old hideout. You’ll find Belle inside at the back of the cave.
Receive an Enchanted Lantern
To complete this Deed, you must start and progress through Chapter Two of The Herald of the Flame Adventure.
Speak with Belle and choose the CONTINUE ADVENTURE dialogue option. Selecting this option will start Chapter Two of the Adventure. Belle will then direct you to The Devil’s Thirst to speak with Pendragon.
Sail to The Devil’s Thirst and park your ship on the island’s Northside. You’ll find Pendragon waving you towards him on the North beach. Speak with Pendragon, and he will give you his Enchanted Lantern.
Find all visions of Stitcher Jim
To complete this Deed, you must complete Chapter Two of The Herald of the Flame Adventure.
During Chapter Two, Pendragon will task you with hunting down Stitcher Jim. To find Stitcher Jim, you’ll need to find seven visions of him with your Enchanted Lantern.
There are three visions on The Devil’s Thirst: one on the North beach, one on the West beach, and one on the South East beach.

After finding all three on The Devil’s Thirst, you’ll sail to Ashen Reaches, where you will find one more in the Sun Vault.
And finally, you will track Stitcher Jim down to Flintlock Peninsula, where you will find the last three visions: one on the South beach, one in front of the entrance to Flameheart’s tomb, and one in Flameheart’s tomb.

Find hidden Reaper Scouts
To complete this Deed, you must start and progress through Chapter Two of The Herald of the Flame Adventure.
During Chapter Two, you can find three hidden Reaper Scouts with your Enchanted Lantern.
There are two Reaper Scouts on The Devils’ Thirst: one by Pendragon when he first gives you the Enchanted Lantern and one by the third vision on the South East beach.

The third Reaper Scout is near the Sun Vault’s entrance on Ashen Reaches.
Examine Stitcher Jim's Journals
To complete this Deed, you must complete Chapter Two and Chapter Three of The Herald of the Flame Adventure.
In Chapter Two, you can find three of Stitcher Jim’s journals.
There is one journal in the Sun Vault on Ashen Reaches, one in Flameheart’s tomb on Flintlock Peninsula, and one in the vault on Molten Sands Fortress.

Defeat the Herald of the Flame
To complete this Deed, you must complete Chapter Three of The Herald of the Flame Adventure.
After tracking down Stitcher Jim and reporting to Belle, she will send you to Molten Sands Fortress to take on the Herald of the Flame. The Herald of the Flame is an Ashen Lord. Like other Ashen Lords, you’ll need to progress through all three waves of the fight and kill the Herald of the Flame.
Complete the Adventure
To complete this Deed, you must complete Chapter Four of The Herald of the Flame Adventure.
Once you have tracked down Stitcher Jim and defeated the Herald of the Flame, you can speak with Belle again and choose the COMPLETE ADVENTURE dialogue option. You will then experience the final cutscene and complete the Adventure.
