Buying a ship in the Sea of Thieves is easy enough. That is, if you have enough gold, of course. As for creating your very own fleet, you’ll have to put some work into your existing ship! It is possible to own more than one of the same ship type, but not before reaching Legendary status!
How to buy more than one ship of the same type
To purchase another ship of the same type, you will first need to progress through your first ship’s Milestones enough to earn a Legendary Title.
For example, you’ll need to unlock a Legendary Ship’s Title on your first sloop before you can buy a second sloop. The same goes for the other two ship types.
How to unlock a Legendary Title
To unlock a Legendary Ship’s Title, you’ll need to reach Class 50 in a Ship Milestone Alignment. To reach Class 50, you’ll need to progress through the Classes of the Milestones in the Alignment for the title you want.
Once you do, you’ll unlock the title and be able to equip it from the Ship’s Title section from the Ship Decorations.
