There are two Ashen Garrisons in the Sea of Thieves that you will find in The Devil’s Roar region. Each Ashen Garrison has a different look with unique structures. However, while the Ashen Garrisons are visually distinct, the mechanics to complete them are the same.
You can easily find one by scanning your ship’s Map Table. Just look for an island in The Devil’s Roar with “Garrison” in its name.
Servant’s Oath Garrison
You can find the Servant’s Oath Garrison at the map coordinates V10. The three structures you’ll need to open to unlock the Guardhouse are the Lighthouse, Sentry Post, and the Bonesmith Forge. Once you’ve unlocked the Guardhouse, you can open the inner Garrison, fight through waves of Skeletons, and breach the Treasury on the lower level.
King’s Chalice Garrison
You can find the King’s Chalice Garrison at the map coordinates Y22. The three structures you’ll need to open to unlock the Guardhouse are the Lighthouse, Armoury, and the Workshop. Once you’ve unlocked the Guardhouse, you can open the inner Garrison, fight through waves of Skeletons, and crack open the Treasury on the lower level.
How to complete an Ashen Garrison
To complete an Ashen Garrison, you must unlock the Garrison Treasury. However, before you can unlock the Garrison Treasury, you must scale the sea wall, gain access to the inner Garrison, and navigate locked rooms filled with Skeletons, Garrison Keymasters, a Captain of the Vault, and a Custodian of the Treasury.
Defeating the Custodian of the Treasury will reward you with a Garrison Treasury Key. With the Garrison Treasury Key, you can finally unlock the Garrison Treasury inside the Vault and complete the Ashen Garrison.
